Wedding Weekend Schedule

Friday: 08/01

At 5 p.m. we will have a casual welcome party for those who arrive early at Captree State Park, near the fishing pier.

Saturday: 08/02

The ceremony will be at 3 p.m. in Captree State Park in the same location as the welcome party. A shuttle will pick guests up from the Farmingdale Marriot at 2 p.m. After the ceremony, a ferry will take us from the beach to a house in nearby West Islip for dinner, drinks, and dancing. Transportation will be provided from the house back to the hotel from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Sunday: 08/03

Bagels, egg sandwiches, and coffee will be served at the West Islip house. Come hang out in the morning if you are still around!

RSVP

We will send RSVP and formal invitations out by mail. You can respond via mail, or through this form.

Travel & Stay

The wedding ceremony and welcome party will both be held at Captree State Park in Bay Shore, NY, near the fishing pier. The reception will be at a nearby house in West Islip.

We have reserved rooms at a discounted rate at the nearby Marriot, located at Two Marriott Plaza Farmingdale, New York, USA, 11735. You can book your room at this link. We will run a shuttle to this hotel on Saturday.

All of these locations are about one hour outside of Manhattan by train. JFK airport is the easiest to fly into. You can take the AirTrain to the Long Island Rail Road. Get off at the Babylon stop if you going straight to Captree, or the Farmingdale stop if you are going to the designated hotel. LaGuardia is also relatively close to fly into, but will require a taxi or car rental from Queens to your final destination.

What to Wear

It will be summer in New York - expect it to be hot, though you may want a sweater at night. The wedding is outdoors. Dressing up is encouraged, because it is fun. But above all, wear something that you can dance in. And heel-wearers beware - we will be on sand for the ceremony!

Registry

Your attendance is enough of a gift. There is no need to give us anything. If you do feel compelled to give something, please donate to our house fund.
